"Hey! There's a hole in my jeans..."Well, tear out the front page! This is not an unusual sentence and, certainly, not an uncommon discovery for a boy. To the novice - a warning. Pay no attention to this part of the sentence. It would be far more newsworthy if there hadn't been a hole.
"...and now I can touch my underwear!"There. Are you worried yet? It wasn't the sentence itself that caught my attention, it was the glee with which it was expressed. My only dilemma here was whether or not I really wanted to know if underwear touching had been a part of the pre-hole discovery and where or when this was all occurring.
I opted not to ask and just kept driving.
